Granite is the perfect stone to be used on bench and countertops, vanities, flooring, wall cladding and of course it is the best stone for monumental work too. It is naturally hardwearing and most importantly very attractive.
When viewing the samples here, it is worth remembering that because granite forms naturally over millions of years, every slab of granite is unique and subject to colour variation. Visit one of our showrooms; we have an extensive range of stunning granites to choose from.

Marble Quarry in Italy
Beauty that lasts forever
Natural stone such as granite and marble was formed millions of years ago. It can be found in the buildings from our earliest civilisations such as the amazing red pyramid in Egypt which was built over 4600 years ago, it is not surprising that these rocks are still synonymous with beauty, quality, hard wearing, high strength and permanent solidity. These characteristics make it the ideal choice for a wide range of applications such as architectural components including uniquely exquisite countertop surfaces for kitchens, hotels, restaurants etc. It is also the perfect material for constructing beautiful monuments, that will last for a very long time indeed.
Marble is not recommended for bench tops because it reacts with alkaline. However Granite does make excellent countertops, which are usually highly polished to a gloss finish with a mirror-like appearance.
The true beauty of stone is that it is a natural material, so on closer inspection you would expect to see some natural characteristics such as “pitting”, “fissures” or “dull spots” these are the geological characteristics that add to the rareness and enhance the beauty of the natural stone.
